MS Legal Search aims to make this city a “diver-sity.”
MS Legal Search has long been committed to improving diversity in the workplace and in the community. Search Coordinator Victor Brooks is now heading MS’s efforts to increase awareness of the value of diversit. On behalf of MS, Victor is participating in meetings with the Gulf Coast Diversity Council, an organization that includes some of Texas’ most influential corporations, where attendees devise new and innovative ways to promote diversity. In addition, MS Legal Search became a member of the Anti-Defamation League’s “Community of Respect” program in 2008 by developing educational programs, volunteer work, and service projects that assist in educating its employees about diversity and discrimination.
As part of its commitment to the Community of Respect program, MS has recently agreed to co-sponsor an Anti-Defamation League event featuring Angela King, a former skinhead. Ms. King will visit various school-oriented and community programs to speak about her experiences as a skinhead, her fall into a destructive lifestyle, her incarceration, and her redemption. Ultimately she took control of her life, earned a college degree, and became an advocate for tolerance across the United States.
