The MS Legal Search team gives back through the Habitat for Humanity program.
The South Acres neighborhood, located in Southwest Houston, was the site of MS LegalSearch’s annual Habitat for Humanity project.
Habitat for Humanity is an organization which sends volunteers all over the world to help low income individuals build homes. The organization works with local groups to organize volunteers and identify people in need of homes. Those selected work alongside volunteers to build their own homes, become a part of the project, and help to build homes for their neighbors.
To date, Habitat for Humanity has built over 350,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.75 million people with homes.
In addition to being a great cause, Habitat for Humanity is a great team building activity. Spending six hours in the mud building a house is a great way to get to know someone. You never know who’s good at swinging a hammer!
The MS Legal team would like to thank our great team of supervisors and all the other great volunteers. We had a really great time on-site, and we’ll see you all next year!
