MS Legal Search’s client, a national law firm with a strong life/work balance, is seeking a talented Real Estate Counsel/ Senior Associate Attorney to join their team in Houston, Texas. Lawyer candidates should have at least 6 years of prior real estate transactions experience including leasing experience. We are looking for a real self-starter, someone who likes to take on a high level of deal responsibility, and a real team player who likes client interaction and mentoring younger lawyers.
This is an unusual position in that there is no pressure to bring in business or develop clients- plenty of work already there. This is a non-partnership track position, so great for someone who wants to do good work and get paid like an associate on the Cravath scale, but go home and not worry about the pressures of aiming towards being a partner.
